What a pity! Here in Germany womens day is completely unknown (at least in our country of northrhine-westfalia). A Polish lady told me that you get flowers and present from totally unknown men in Poland.
What a pity!

In the U.S. we do not have Women's Day, but we do have Mother's Day - what a great idea! I wonder if there such a thing as Men's day, and a similar poem? hrmmmm...

How would it go...

Men were made by God first so he could work out any mistakes
Men were essentially a beta release
As with all beta releases
They were meant to be replaced by newer and better upgrades

Unless they continue to serve some basic purpose
such as keeping the lights on or,
keeping the water on or,
keeping the heat on or,
...

If it is an international womens day ...
I first heard of it on 8th march when that Polish lady asked me about it. Well, she is good looking and I think that she was very astonished that nobody gave flowers or little presents to her.
I am very sorry but it is totally unknown here.

When we were small all we heard about was Mother's day and Children's day (in India, it is 14th Nov : our first Prime Minister's birthday).
Except for a few countries, how many had heard about Valentines Day a decade ago. It is probably the most celebrated day. We now have Father's day, Grandparent's day, Women's Day; pray why should we have women's day, isn't everyday 'Women's day'? We will soon have more ____ Days

This is all a multi-dollar industry and we all fall prey to it.

I can vouch for Ajay treating the women in his life right ..... most of the time ! But maybe because that is only because at least one woman in particular will NOT let him get away with it ;)

I propose all married couples and those proposing to get married read these books
1. Men are from Mars and Women from Venus
2. Why do men not listen and why cant women read maps
